Hey girls,


We are currently building our house and I am looking at ways of saving $$ so we can get our mortgage paid off asap. I guess I am after advice on things like making your own cleaning products, cheap meals, things to do around the house that look great but are cheap, gardening etc! Just thought this might be a helpful post for anyone else too :-)

Bi carb and vinegar are GREAT cleaners for around the house – and cheap!


The hard things are trying to not eat out as much or get take away – when we were renting we did this a lot and it was hard to change our lifestyle once we bought our house. So now we cook a lot! Get DVDs instead of going to the movies…


I would love to hear other peoples tips too.
