Casey’s Vintage Coral Theme

Thanks so much to Member Casey for sharing her wedding day vision with One White Dress. I am so excited to feature such a stunning inspiration board and can’t wait to see her planning progress and of course, the beautiful result next August!
After her engagement to high-school sweetheart Grant, Casey immediately knew the tone and feel she wanted for her wedding day. “I’ve always wanted a vintage, traditional wedding incorporating muted tones of Ivory, Champagne and Coral. We want to look back on something that isn’t dated but rather something classic.”
Coral and soft Pinks will play an important role in Casey’s wedding theme, and inject a subtle contemporary edge to what is such an romantic and timeless concept. Crystal Chandeliers and Letterpress Invitations will add that classic and elegant touch. The bride also knew immediately that flowers would feature heavily. “I love flowers so want to have as many Roses as possible, giving a fresh spring feel” she said, so we included an abundance of plush White, Soft Pink, Coral and Cream blooms.
Initially inspired by the Take a Bow board featured on One White Dress, together we were able to create a classic and sophisticated vision with a soft and romantic colour scheme to give a true picture of Casey’s dream wedding day. This was a major inspiration for my wedding, a combination of this and the crystal theme, plus some vineyards created a magical aura for my wedding. Thanks Alera for allowing us to view such beautiful themes. It was this inspiration board that made me bite the bullet and select the coral bridesmaid dresses. I sat and showed my Maid and Matron on honour this, and although they had already put deposits down on red dresses (inspired by a rose is a rose is a rose theme), they saw the beauty of this and said they’d be happy to get the coral dresses instead.
