Winter Wonderland Theme

Seeking inspiration from the four seasons is often the best way to chose your ultimate Wedding theme. From the warmth and sunshine of Summer to the floral vibrancy of Spring, the Autumn leaves of Fall or the magical, wonderland that is Winter. This inspiration board showcases the best of the coldest season and brings it to life with muted colour and cosy accessories.
As someone who lives in the Australian tropics, it’s an unlikely occurrence that I will ever experience a white winter! So with this theme I’ve chosen to select elements to create my own ultimate winter wonderland. Staring with a base palette of Ice Blue and crisp White the theme draws upon the iconic snowflake. A simple motif adorning not only the Invitations but also the Wedding cake and guest cookie favours. Hints of subtle Blue peek through the mostly white backdrop as seen in the floral arrangements and of course these simple, yet luxurious Bridesmaid dresses.
What better way to keep warm than by layering your snow White gown with a fur stole. Faux fur of course, and the perfect way to cover those shoulders when the temperature hits zero. You could even follow through on this cozy touch and accessorise with fur trimmed heels to keep your toes toasty and warm. But regardless of where you live and the reading on your thermometer, you can always find inspiration in the season that is winter. Cold and cosy but a sure fire way to warm your heart. ♥
