Ashley’s Designer DIY

There are so many ingenious Wedding related products out there these days, but nothing pleases me more than seeing a truly fabulous DIY creation… Something made with love and from the heart, personalised to perfection and meticulously crafted. Member Ashley and her DIY Wedding stationary are all that and more in a nutshell.
“My goal for my wedding is to be part vintage, part modern and part beachy”, Ashley said about her upcoming Marriage to fiance Cesar. Her Wedding invitations certainly follow suit with a clever mix of fresh colour, vintage design and contemporary styling. She assembled each invitation with the utmost care, combining layers of card stock, vellum and paper sourced online. With particular attention to detail she even had a custom rubber stamp created especially for her stationary. A beautiful flourish design featuring an intricate hand-drawn Orchid illustration featured on each invite and Ashley sourced the skills of a talented Etsy seller to help with this part of the design process.
No doubt the invitation-making process for this Bride was arduous and time consuming and not to mention, incredibly satisfying. “When it got down to crunch time, my mom sister and even nephew were able to help me. They took a couple sleepless nights for me but they were well worth it”. If this is the kind of effort Ashley has put into her stationary, then I can’t wait to see how amazing her Wedding day is! Set at a Sarasota 1930’s mansion, surrounded by old-world architecture overlooking the ocean, this is sure to be one Wedding to look forward to.
Thank you Ashley for taking the time to share your gorgeous stationary creations with One White Dress. Wishing you lots of love, laughter and lasting memories on your big day. ♥
