Blooming Calla Lilies!

Looking for something edgy, modern and sophisticated to carry down the aisle? Then you must consider the stunning Calla Lilly. With it’s long tubular hollow stem uncurling into a unique trumpet shaped bloom they are an ideal choice for dramatic and contemporary bouquets.
Originating in southern Africa the Calla or Arum Lilly are a great way not only to add colour to a bridal bouquet, but more so texture and visual interest. Available in an array of colours including deep Aubergine, burnt Orange, White, Green and Pink with new varieties being released regularly due to popularity. Most common are the largest blooms but don’t overlook the miniature versions also… They make perfect fillers amongst other complementary flowers. Combined with similar tones for a showcase of vibrant colour or a single arrangement of white Lilies tied with a classic ribbon, this flower can be as simple or versatile as you wish. I just love their glossy petals when teamed with textured foliage for a funky look.
