Blooming Peonies!

Ah Peonies… If there was ever a flower created with utter perfection; this was it… The roundest in shape, with large fluffy, sheltering petals in the softest, most feminine colours, no wonder Peonies are one of the most popular Wedding flowers around.

Used in large free-form bouquets or tightly bunched amongst neighbouring blooms in a modern display, this flower steals centre stage. Originally cultivated in China, the Peony denotes luxury and indulgence making them ideal for Bridal bouquets. Sadly, they only flower for a short time, usually just 6 weeks at the end of Spring, thus making them rare and even more sought after. So if you’re lucky enough to be married in Springtime, talk to your florist about including this divine flower in your bouquet.

While the Peony lends itself toward the higher price bracket, this full-figured-flower is ideal for creating over-sized, dramatic bouquets. Why not try one single colour such as pale pink or cream for a eye-catching arrangement, or combine complimentary colours and throw in a few other of your favourite blooms for variety? Whatever you decide, count yourself as one of the luckiest as you walk down the aisle with an armful of Blooming Peonies. ♥

The peony is one of our top selling silk wedding flowers. The peony is a romantic floral choice, with it’s ruffled bloom and soft colors.
