Cakeout… Day Three - Yin & Yang

Welcome to Day 3 of the Cakeout with my Fork out. Today’s best Wedding cake images fall into the category of Yin & Yang, Black & White… Opposites that attract and the purest reflection of the perfect Wedding couple.
From the simplistic butter-cream tiered creation complete with flawless satin band to the ornate and detailed lace fancy of floral artistry, Black and White remains sophisticated and harmonious, no matter the design. Abstract or Art Deco, Playful or Fun, it’s amazing what these two opposing colours can do when teamed together on a perfect Wedding cake.
So as we welcome the next 7 contenders in the 2009 Cakeout with my Fork out we are reminded of how the dark and the light, the male and the female, the high and the low can abide in perfect harmony…Thus reflected in sugar perfection.
