Champagne Crystal Theme

If a wedding was a glass of Champagne this is what it would look like… This concept is smothered in golden elegance… A rich and sumptuous palette of sparkle and candlelight perfect for a winter wedding in the evening time. I have chosen intoxicating Champagne & Golden hues with rich warm undertones of Caramel and decadent shimmering Ivory highlights. You could get a little tipsy just by looking at it…
I love the idea of encrusting the event with crystals; they are the continuous stream of bubbles you could say… From the invitations, to the cake adornment, the bridal party hairstyles, to your stylish footwear and the hanging crystal-tree centerpiece; the crystals transform a cheap cask of Dry White into a bottle Vintage Dom Perignon. This concept is even followed through in the bridesmaid gowns. Stunning gold silk gowns with shimmering details tied with a simple satin ribbon sash.
By choosing neutral flowers like Cream Ecuadorian Roses, White Phalaenopsis Orchids and Ornamental Cala Lilies, the floral arrangements compliment the theme rather than compete. Lighting should take centre stage, so don’t overlook or underestimate it’s importance. Candles, soft dim lamps and single-spotlights on table centrepieces give your guests the opportunity to see their decadent surroundings through chardonnay-coloured-glasses. If this wedding was a glass of champagne you can be guaranteed that ever sip will be one to savour. ♥

What a sumptuous theme! I love gold but it can look tacky sometimes, but this inspiration board is really nice!
