Colour Coordinated Cuisine

As you have probably guessed by now, I love the idea of incorporating colour in every way possible… It’s the makings for a stylish and personalised Wedding day, so why stop at chair sashes and table centerpieces? Colourful cuisine is the new way to extend your Wedding theme and wow your guests as they mingle at the reception.
With so many creative and innovative caterers pushing the boundaries of edible delights you really can allow your imagination to soar. Food is no longer just a tasty meal, but an art form, where colour and design sit proudly on the plate. After all, we eat with our eyes first… So here’s a few examples of colourful cuisine, so coordinated, they’re almost too good to eat!
Appetizers are one particular way to express your Wedding theme and treat guests with a burst of colour. Bright soups in shot-glasses are an easy way to start… Each one a refreshing sip that tastes almost as bold as it looks. From tomato and chili for a Red wedding to Pea and mint for a Green affair, nature really does provide the freshest tones to compliment your theme. Also consider presenting the dishes on coloured servers for extra impact. These edible spoons topped with caviar are all the more impressive when served on a Fuchsia designer platter.
So whether your a slave to the flavour or a lover of chic presentation like me, culinary colour is making it’s move and all eyes will agree, it’s the yummiest way to add flavour your Wedding day theme. ♥
