One of the reasons I decided to host the Fashionista For a Day Competition was to be able to showcase innovative, unique and individual ideas from our Members. This entry from Brooke is an ideal example of just that. I am just loving her clever, out-of-the-box ideas and edgy unconventional styling.

Brooke’s ‘Designer Bride’ entry features this non traditional Black Vera Wang gown. A classic design composed of delicate Tissue Organza. It’s bold… It’s dramatic and it’s so fashionable. Teamed with a stylish pinstriped, black and white Chanel clutch and the infamous Carrie Manolo’s, this outfit is taken to the next level. The cute blue colouring of these heels conveniently doubles as this Brides something blue. What a chic and elegant way to transform this long-lived tradition into something fit for the modern day. The icing on the cake is a sophisticated up-style teamed with black feather Fascinator. It’s as far from Traditional Bride as you can get, but it just works!
