Halo Headbands

Headbands are all the rage these days in celebrity-land so it’s only natural that the trend spill-over into the wide world of Weddings. It’s a sweet and cute idea. Something untraditional and unconventional but still elegant and simple enough to make a stylish statement.

Here’s a few stunning examples that can easily transform any hairstyle. From a simple Ivory satin band worn with a smooth, up-style to this gorgeous Jennifer Behr sparkly mesh designer piece, the perfect thing for a Bohemian Bride. Why not try a vintage inspired piece to soften your romantic look, or draw attention where attention is due and glam-it-up with plenty of bling!

If your still hoping to wear a veil on your day but still love the idea of a little headband action then why not consider removing your veil after the ceremony and popping one on for a totally different look at the reception. It’s easy to add some celebrity-chicness to your Wedding day look, so style-it-up with a fancy headband. It’s like a halo, only for Brides.  ♥

I have not seen too many weddings yet where the bride wears a headband. Where I live we have a pretty big hippie culture and they wear headbands at weddings but not as elegant. I have to say I really like the 3rd and 5th because they are minimalist and very pretty. They don’t detract from the bride herself.

Cool post though. I will be interested to see if these start showing up more.

I was thinking of wearing two combs to hold my long hair out of my face, but if I can find something like #3 I’d like to try that too! Thank you for this great idea!

I had come across fabulous a head band by accident in the bridal shop where I got my dress and I am so glad I did! I think they are perfect for the bride that wants some flair in her hair without sporting a tiara. Mine was much like number three up top but the concept is great on all of the photos. I also like that a lot of the pieces pictured are so beautiful you don’t really need a ton of other jewelry-it takes care of the sparkle.
