Little Bubbles of Light

For timeless sophistication when it comes to Wedding decor you just can’t go past candles… Their flickering, gentle dim light does so much for a room including creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. One way to elevate this classic approach to decor is to make use of all the space you have by utilising hanging lanterns. I particularly love these in a glass variety, with their simplistic design and understated form, once lit with a dim flame, transform into little bubbles of light.
Glass lanterns come in a variety of shapes, sizes and styles. From rustic glass jars suspended by twisted wire, to hand-blown glass domes discretely hung with clear fishing line. Take the DIY approach and use an eclectic collection of your own containers or consider some of the other remarkable candle holders on the market. Candles of course are the obvious choice to enclose in a glass container, but why not take it a step further and suspend mini posies of fresh flowers amongst the flickering light? Perfect for hanging from outdoor branches to decorate the space, or incorporated in your table centerpieces.
These can be a great solution for reception spaces or chill-out rooms with limited table or floor area. By making use of all dimensions and hanging rather that clumping candles you can create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for outdoors as the flame is enclosed and also a great child-safe alternative to spilt candle wax all over your guests tables! But really, who needs a practical solution when they’re guaranteed to fill your Wedding day with effortless luminosity? Like lots of little champagne bubbles of light… Now that’s something worth toasting to. ♥
