Real Wedding - Ann & Andrew

Thanks to reader Ann for submitting her stunning wedding photos to One White Dress. It’s so lovely to see a wave of stylish, elegant and sophisicated weddings here in Australia and Ann & Andrew’s wedding is no exception.
With a colour scheme of Chocolate Brown and Ivory accented with green foliage, Ann created a classic and elegant concept. Her stylish Raw Silk gown by Wendy Makin was complimented perfectly by her elegant bridesmaids in Chocolate satin halter-gowns complete with dainty Floral Wristlets in lieu of bouquets. Decoration for the event was fresh and crisp with an abundance of neutral flowers by Heaven Scent. From Hanging Pomanders blooming with Peonies, Freesias and Singapore Orchids, to Decorative Urns brimming with Lisianthus, David Austin Roses and glossy green foliage, even the cake was adorned with a pretty selection of fragrant blooms.
When reading Ann’s submission I was touched by the care and love shown in the making of their wedding day and also by the close family ties evident in the photos. From spending the night with her family before the wedding and taking part in a game of snooker during the day, to having their wedding rings blessed by the guests who witnessed their union, it is evident that something much grander than design and planning made this wedding day so unique. It was the love that surrounded Ann & Andrew and the unity within their hearts that makes this a Real Wedding that I am proud to feature. ♥
