The setting for their Reception was the Barn at Al-Ru and with the help of Dine Catering, Hannah & David transformed the space into an relaxed and romantic setting. As for styling Adelaide Flower House pushed the limits to create a theme that would reflect the couples style. “We gave our florist artistic licence with the theme and concept ideas we had given her and then trusted her to create something beautiful and magical”, said Hannah. The couple were certainly not disappointed when they entered their Reception for the first time, with many elements a wonderful surprise. Long banquet tables were decorated with modern centrepieces in a French Provincial style, tying in their Vintage Music Paper element. Feathers and soft muted flowers adorned tables each named after a style of dance; Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep… Even the cake was unique and personalised. A modern take comprised of luxurious Cheese Wheels, stacked and decorated with fruits and fresh flowers.
But the highlight of the evening was of course Hannah & David’s first dance as Husband and Wife. “Even though we were both dancers, had been dancing all our lives and it is my profession, our dance for the first time as husband and wife was a very special moment. It was not about performing for our guests, but rather celebrating tradition” said the Bride.
What a treat this has been for me to write about such a unique and beautiful day. Thank you Hannah and David for allowing me the opportunity to hear more about your Wedding story and for sharing your photographs with us. May you dance for many more years not only in each others arms, but in each others hearts. ♥
