Real Wedding - Natalie & Glenn
by onewhitedress on 03/03/10 at 8:50 am
It’s not often that I come across a Real Wedding that I just have to feature on One White Dress. A day brimming with stylish colour and a clever mixture of quirky personalised elements with traditional, timeless style. Thanks to Member Natalie for allowing me the opportunity to share her must-see Wedding day.
With a modern and fresh concept in mind, Natalie and Glenn went to work incorporating a Black and White damask theme with a splash of bright Yellow. Bridesmaids were given the freedom to chose their own dresses, each in black, with matching yellow sashes, complimenting the Brides gown perfectly. From the flowers to the stationary and through to the reception, the couple managed to tie in their personalised style for a brilliant result.
Above all else, Natalie and Glenn wanted to achieve a certain feel about their day. A relaxed, celebratory feel that allowed guests to converse, mingle and soak up the stunning surrounds at Lanyon Homestead. Long tables for banquet style eating were arranged on an open grassed area with the smooth sound of live Jazz playing in the background. Children ran and played amongst the gardens as the guests danced and laughed the night away. To top of the evening a special treat for lovers of sweets, with not one but three desserts. “Everyone loved our gelato bar… Choosing the flavours and eating as much gelato as they wanted! It really added a relaxed feel to the night” Natalie said. Accompanied by a cupcake tower and a lolly bar, these guests were literally a bunch of kids in a candy store!
It’s clearly evident that each element of this couples day was put together with thought and love. The must needed ingredient in any beautiful Wedding day. Their vision was most certainly achieved and no doubt made for memories that will last a lifetime. Many thanks to you Natalie and Glenn for sharing your story with One White Dress. Wishing you endless happy memories and lots more Gelato in your future life together. ♥

Hi Lauren,
I found them on ebay. A seller (from the UK) makes them to the size requirements that you need. We had trouble finding the fabric here in Australia!
