Real Wedding - Rebecca & Jamie

I’m so happy to be able to feature Rebecca & Jamie’s stunning Real Wedding. I must admit from the first time I saw these images I was excited. The beautiful vivid colours, the quirky touches and the pure joy in each image, this was a true celebration indeed.

The Brides Wedding gown is most certainly a stand-out element of the day. Who would have thought that a shorter hemline would make for such a fun and fancy result. Rebecca says “I found a picture of a style I loved so I went to the fabulous Jo from Sposabella Bridal and she made my dream dress”. Her bridesmaids certainly did not fall short either, wearing Coral, Cooper St tea length dresses. From there each element of the day followed through on the couples Spring Pastel theme from the flowers to the decorations, to the Grooms attire.

There was no shortage of DIY for Rebecca & Jamie which is reflected in their personalised touches. “I had so many fabulous ideas and my family and friends were hands on and helped me to bring the details to life” Rebecca explains. The couple even decided to bravely make their own Wedding cake! “120 cupcakes later the day before the wedding – with massive help from my Mum, Aunty, Cousins and Bridesmaids we created the most gorgeous display of cupcakes I had ever seen.  I also made a giant cupcake for Jamie and I to cut.” said Rebecca.

After sharing in an intimate ceremony the couple celebrated with their guests to the sounds of live Jazz. The cocktail reception provided a relaxed and fun atmosphere for guests to mingle. Bird cages, decorated with Jasmine and fairy-lights decorated the space and guests danced long into the night, barefoot on the cool, green grass. Thanks to Jonathan at Vibrant Photography all the fun was caught on camera with a true and honest reflection of this couples perfect day.
