Sparkle Speaks Louder than Words

You know me… I LOVE colour. Putting a concept/theme together is like swimming in a pool of coordinating hues and the water is fine! But today, for something different I’ve decided to throw caution to the wind and create a theme which is entirely made up of pretty, shinny, glittery, sparkly things which in turn may have just caused my heart to skip a beat.

Call it what you may, bling is a highly underestimated ‘hue’ of it’s own. When composed in an entirely coordinating manner, nil of any true colour scheme, you have to admit it’s pretty fantastic. It opens all kinds of possibilities in the world of pretty weddings and makes you realise that if you just put some glitter, crystal or sparkle on it, you really can do without the matchy-matchy theme all together. Now you might argue that a theme like this is rather one-dimensional… Quite to the contrary my friend. Take the texture, reflection and sparkle that a glitter-ladened wedding of this type conveys, and it transforms practically anything from a simple cake, to a fabulous pair of stilettos into something magical. You could even shoot this wedding entirely in black and white and you’d still be in awe of it’s depth and variety although it is without even a drop of vibrant colour. Sparkle speaks louder than words people… Enough said. ♥
