Take your Seat

For those of you who have already experienced the mammoth task of assigning guests to their seats will know that choosing a place card holder is a no brain-er in comparison. If I was to pick just one thing that brides find most ‘cringe-worthy’ when it comes to planning their wedding, it’s the seating chart. How to place every single one of your guests in a way that creates happiness and harmony… If only this task could be as fun and frivolous as choosing the place card holder in which to direct everyone to ‘take their seat’.
So what better way to direct guests to their assigned place at the reception than a miniature chair? From a simple and relaxed beach wedding to a formal and elegant ballroom affair, a tiny seat can add a quirky and unique touch to your reception tables and one guests will not expect. I love these antique wired candle holder seats from American Bridal, I can see them sitting proudly on a pastel set outdoor wedding table. Or these rustic wooden lazy-boys from My Wedding Favors, just the thing for a Autumn country reception.
Not only are the an adorable decorative addition but also a great keepsake for those who attended the wedding. Simply take out the place card and replace it with one of your wedding photos and they have a daily reminder of the wonderful wedding you created. Lets hope that they also help you forget the hours of toiling over the multitude of names and ocean of tables, only to realise that a glass of wine and a lie-down is a much better way to spend your Saturday afternoon. ♥
