The Language of Flowers

flower-power-2

A innocent bride, on her way to the chapel asks the driver to pull-over at a nearby roadside garden to pluck an unsuspecting blossom. When she tucks it into her hair she feels complete, adorned with natures most precious gift. How does something so simple, make such a romantic statement?

Fresh flowers have been used in weddings for centuries and each with their own meaning can be used in a multitude of ways. Whether it’s a single Amaryllis bloom nestled into your soft curls or a crown of Frangipanis sitting proudly amongst your sun-kissed tresses flowers speak a language louder than words. With our without a veil, wearing your hair up or down, flowers can adorn and compliment even the simplest of any hairstyle. In saying that often the simplest of do’s, the soft and romantic ones are when fresh flowers really are best. So whether you raid your neighbours garden for a few Spray Roses or pre-order a single Cymbidium Orchid pin to match your bouquet, the essence of romance will be proudly be displayed, when you say I do… on your wedding day. ♥

I love the fact that the style of using flowers as head pieces for brides has come back again. Besides looking so romantic the bride has the lovely scent of the gardenia, rose or Palmyra flower in her hair. These are just lovely examples of what can be done with flowers in the hair for any occasion, not only brides.
